During National Apprenticeship Week (10th-14th February), we embarked on a mission to educate, inspire, and empower the next generation of apprentices. Through a series of insightful talks, interactive career stands, and engagement with parents, carers, and educators, we showcased the vast opportunities that apprenticeships offer. Our efforts spanned across the North of England, featuring the experiences of 11 past apprentices who shared their inspiring journeys.

School & College Engagement

We delivered tailored presentations and engaging career stands at 13 schools and colleges, reaching 1,898 students. These sessions highlighted:

• The benefits of apprenticeships.
• Various career pathways available through apprenticeships.
• First-hand insights from current and past apprentices about their journeys.
• Direct access to apprenticeship application guidance.

Beyond supporting students, we also helped 43 teachers better understand the diverse apprenticeship opportunities available, equipping them with the knowledge to guide their students effectively.

Parent & Carer Engagement

We hosted dedicated talks, Q&A sessions, and participated in evening careers fairs, to help parents and carers understand apprenticeships. These initiatives allowed us to engage with 204 parents and carers, providing them with essential information on apprenticeship opportunities and pathways.
