The Multiply programme is designed to help adults develop essential numeracy skills through engaging and interactive workshops. Working with adults over 19 without a Maths GCSE or equivalent, aiming to build confidence and improve functional mathematics skills in everyday life.

Financial Literacy Workshop
For this session, we focused on financial literacy, covering savings, budgeting, and savvy shopping. Through interactive talks and hands-on activities, participants gained practical skills to better manage their finances. Our approach was also community-driven, connecting attendees with valuable local resources such as food banks and financial support services.

Supporting Refugee Action York
This workshop was delivered for Refugee Action York, making it an especially rewarding experience. We provided crucial financial guidance, helping attendees understand British financial systems. Key topics included:
- How to set up and use a Lifetime ISA (LISA)
- Maximizing savings through off-peak energy usage
- Buying and selling used clothing online for extra income
Engagement & Impact
Our participants were highly engaged, asking insightful questions about taxes, savings accounts, and budgeting tips. By the end of the session, they felt more confident in handling their finances and ready to make use of local community resources.
