Bringing the Workplace to the Classroom

Last week, we had the privilege of delivering an Experience of the Workplace session at George Pindar School, offering Year 9 students an interactive insight into careers in engineering.

Hands-On Learning with Jackson Civil Engineering

The session, led by Jackson Civil Engineering, opened students’ eyes to the exciting possibilities within the industry. From apprenticeships to tackling real-world challenges in AI, sustainability, and workplace equality, students explored how engineering shapes the world around them.

Through hands-on activities that mirrored real tasks at Jackson Civil Engineering, students gained practical experience and inspiration to consider careers in the field.
