PAL Without ASK: What Now?
As you’ll be aware, the Department for Education’s ASK programme is coming to an end this summer. For many schools, this raises understandable questions about how to continue meeting the statutory Provider Access Legislation (PAL) requirements from September 2025.
At NYBEP, we’ve been the trusted regional delivery partner for ASK for several years. We understand how important this provision has been, and how challenging it is to replace. That’s why we’ve developed a new, practical offer to support schools in delivering impartial, compliant, and high-quality information on apprenticeships and technical pathways across Years 8 to 13.
To share our response, we’ve recorded a short 8-minute webinar introducing our proposed KS3 and KS4 activities.
Watch now:
We’re committed to ensuring our offer works for schools like yours — and we’d love your input.
We’ll use your feedback to refine the model and will share a costed offer by Friday 6th June.
Thank you for continuing to work with us to ensure young people receive the impartial information they need to make informed decisions about their futures. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at events@nybep.org.uk.
