NYBEP is an education business partnership with a 25-year track record of successfully engaging employers in education.

Our Successful Futures programme is aimed at helping young people to acquire the skills and knowledge that prepare them for the workplace and inspire them to plan for and achieve a successful future.

Successful Futures Coordinator – Fixed Term
c £18-24k per annum (depending on experience)

Working mainly across Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield this role will ensure there is a high level of activity taking place in secondary schools and colleges that is supported by local businesses aimed at young people to develop their employability skills, inform them of employment opportunities, further education choices as well as introducing them to a variety of sectors and the job roles within that will support them to achieve a successful future.

This role will lead on existing NYBEP projects across West Yorkshire, generate new partnerships and engage local providers and businesses capable of supporting young people to gain the knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to plan for and thrive in their chosen career.

You will ideally have a background in event coordination and ideally experience of working with schools and businesses.  You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of local and national education and skills policy and have previous experience of facilitating partnership working and project management.

With excellent attention to detail, the successful candidate will have first class communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be required to demonstrate credibility and resilience working with a wide range of local partners, managing priorities effectively and efficiently as well as handling data and project reporting requirements.

It is anticipated that this post will be based in Bradford/Leeds with sometime at our head office in York, so a clean driving licence and access to a car are also essential.
