Successful Futures

NYBEP is an education business partnership with a 25-year track record of successfully engaging employers in education.

Our Successful Futures programme is aimed at helping young people to acquire the skills and knowledge that prepare them for the workplace and inspire them to plan for and achieve a successful future.

Co-ordinator – Enterprise and Employability

c £18-24k per annum (depending on experience)

 

Working mainly on the North Yorkshire Coast, this role will help to ensure there is a high level of activity taking place between education and employers bringing young people directly into contact with people and experiences that will inform their future pathways.

You will support existing projects, generate new partnerships and activities, and engage local providers capable of supporting young people to gain the knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to plan for and thrive in their chosen career.

You will ideally have a background in education together with an understanding of employer needs. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of local and national education and skills policy and have previous experience of facilitating partnership working and project management.

With excellent attention to detail, the successful candidate will have first class communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be required to demonstrate credibility and resilience working with a wide range of local partners, managing priorities effectively and efficiently as well as handling data and project reporting requirements.

It is anticipated that this post will be based in York with time split across the week to be spent in Scarborough/Whitby, so a clean driving licence and access to a car are also essential.
